Victoria Simmonds - Musical Director

Victoria is an international opera singer who has performed for numerous opera houses, orchestras, concert halls and festivals including Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, English National Opera, Opera North, Royal Albert Hall, Het Concertgebouwe, Dutch National Opera, Theatre an den Wien, Munich, Aix-en-Provence, Berlin Philharmonic, BBC Proms, Opera Comique, Paris and many others.

She has done considerable work in contemporary music, including creating the title role in Jonathan Dove's "The Adventures of Pinocchio", Angel2/Marie in George Benjamin's "Written on Skin", and many others. She has recorded for Chandos and Opera Rara, and enjoys fitting in recital work when she can. Wyn Hyland - Pianist and Conductor

Wyn hails from Cardigan, Wales and was educated at Chetham’s Music School, Wadham College, Oxford and the Royal College of Music. Credits include recitals in Asia, Bolivia, Uganda, Australia and New Zealand, concertos at The Royal Festival Hall, St. David’s Hall and BBC Maida Vale and Musical Director on the European tours of Cabaret and Guys and Dolls.

Wyn has worked as keyboard player and associate conductor in the West End with Chicago. He has performed on Woman’s Hour, worked at the Royal Opera House, Welsh National Opera, Garsington, Grange Park and Pavilion Opera companies, appeared on Last Choir Standing with the winning choir Only Men Aloud and been Assistant Musical Director on The Music Man at Chichester.
